Vaccinations not only protect the child from deadly diseases, such as polio, tetanus, and diphtheria, but they also keep other children safe by eliminating or greatly decreasing dangerous diseases that used to spread from child to child. Vaccinations are important for children because children can develop immunity without suffering from the actual diseases. To offer the best protection, it is important for the child to be vaccinated at the recommended times rather than delaying.
The Vaccination Project was organized in S&K Mine Town for the Mine Town families led by the Taungpalu health department under the Salingyi Township, Yimarbin District, Sagaing Region. On 1st January 2021, at the MYTCL Mine Town Hospital all local children have received the vaccinations.
